CIWEM Rivers and Coastal Group Study Day 2024 | Bristol | IN-PERSON

The annual study day hosted by the CIWEM Rivers and Coastal Group looking at the Avonmouth Severnside Enterprise Area Project Ecological Mitigation and Flood Defence project near Bristol. There will be presentations and discussion in the morning sessions and site visits to view the scheme in the afternoon.

Part of CIWEM Rivers and Coastal, Climate Emergency Adaption and Resilience and Flood Resilience and Adaption series.

Morning sessions location: Mott MacDonald Bristol offices, 10 Temple Back, Redcliffe, Bristol BS1 6FL United Kingdom

Afternoon site visit locations: Avonmouth Severnside Enterprise Area Project (Chestle Pill, Lamplighters Marsh and Severn Beach) United Kingdom

 

Transport will be provided to the project sites.

As part of the site visit, we will be visiting coastal areas (on footpaths). Pleaase ensure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing. We will let youu know if PPE is required for any of the visit although this is not anticipated.
