This Environmental Economics course is designed to provide a practical introduction to the concepts, approaches and methods used in economics to address challenges in water and environmental management.

Part One of the course introduces key concepts, methods and valuation techniques used in environmental economics to support decision making. Part Two of the course will encompass application to real world challenges, including climate change, biodiversity, green infrastructure, resource management and natural capital.

CIWEM reserve the right to cancel any start date if there are insufficient registrants. No refunds can be made less than 14 days prior to the commencement of the module although substitutions can be made at any time. You will be refunded if it is CIWEM that make the cancellation.

From 1 August 2016 we will no longer accept payment via invoice and therefore the ‘pay later’ option has been removed from our checkout page. Payment for events must be made at the time of booking using a valid credit or debit card. We would like to thank you for your continued support and hope that you find this transition smooth and problem-free. 

Payment via invoice may granted in some exceptional cases. Payment by invoice may be requested by emailing [email protected] with the booking details. Please note bookings for all CIWEM events require agreement to payment terms and conditions. Please note all events and training bookings where payment is taken via invoice will incur a £25.00 (+VAT) administration fee
