South Western Hinkley Point C power station visit 2020

South Western Hinkley Point C power station visit 2020

CIWEM South Western branch's sealed site visit tour of the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station.

We will meet at the HPC Cannington park and ride facility in Cannington, near Bridgwater. HPC Cannington park and ride will be used as our base and all CIWEM South Western branch delegates will be taken to and from the HPC construction site from here via EDF's own coach during the site tour of Hinkley Point C. Please note that it will not be permitted to drive to the construction site directly, as entry will automatically be denied.

Security checks
Due to the strict health, safety and security checks process for those visiting the site, EDF Energy HPC will be undertaking security checks in advance of the visit and on the day. You will have to provide photographic ID on the day and personal information that match the details in your ID. It is important that you carefully read the EDF Energy terms and conditions that apply to tours of the site along with their privacy policy before you book your place. We will require you to provide the additional information for the EDF Energy HPC Visitor Security Details Forms, so it is essential for you to accurately complete the seven Security Check Information questions when booking so these can be passed onto EDF Energy HPC.

The name details entered for the visitor when attending HPC must consist of the First Name and if applicable any Middle Name(s) and your surname. These must accurately match those on the ID document presented (for example: Joseph Bloggs NOT Jo Bloggs). Failure to comply with this will prevent the visitor being permitted access under the request.

Please highlight anyone that has a HPC site pass. Please note: It is the responsibility of the HPC team member to ensure this is live (been onsite in the last 30 days) - if they fail to do so they will be refused entry as part of the sealed tour visit.

It is important that you read and confirm you agree to the EDF Energy HPC health, safety and security conditions and their privacy policy before booking your place.
